Artist Statement
Human form, color, symbols; each painting uses these elements to show a story, a particular step in my journey. Each painting is as necessary as the one before and the one that follows. I am one puzzle piece closer to my life work every time I put my signature on the canvas and set down the brush.
My paintings are thoughtful and intimate. The paintings chronicle a full spectrum of the human experience. I am self trained and create my art through organic lenses. For me, art is more than creating something beautiful and interesting. It is my way of communicating with and understanding the world I live in.
