Nestled behind a wooden fence and surrounded by abundant native trees, my home studio is a tremendous place to work and live. The name comes in part from Harper Lee’s novel and a remarkable experience I had with a very persistent mockingbird here in Key West. Some Native American teachings say that if a mockingbird makes it’s presence known to you, it’s time to share your gift with the world.

It is from this vein, that my home, my place to create, is named Mockingbird Studio.
